AND THE WINNER IS...

There were a lot of great pin-ups to choose from, and it was a tough choice, but I kept going back to one entry, an entry that spawned a coloring collaboration from another entrant, as well as myself (see sidebar pic 1). In the end, I had to give it to RUSS PLATT.

Russ has some great linework (see sidebar pic 2) that really captured participant number 3, in his simple, but alluring piece that featured Kityana relaxing for a moment in her nano-skin suit at the studios.

I really wish I didn't have to pick just one, because there were a few more I'd really like to have used. Perhaps I'll find a home for them in print in some form in the future (maybe the eventual tradepaperback?), but all will be posted on the website soon in the new fan art section! Additionally, some of the entries will run on the Super Real webcomic at GraphicSmash.com, starting 5/17/06.

Again, I'd like to thank everyone for taking the time to participate, you're all winners in my book! (Er, well, you're not all winners in THE book, but you know what I mean.) :p

And to our grand prize winner Russ, a big SUPER REAL congratulations!! Now we just have to pick which version to feature in our upcoming third issue alongside Hector Sevilla's variant cover poster!
